Captain America: civil war pixel patterns

So I am a bit of a comic freak. And yes I also love the Avenger movies andere Captain America is my favorite for sure! So one day I desided that I was going to make a Avenger blanket for my son (who also love the Avengers) but I really don't like large projects so it is still not finished at all!

So I desided to make a bunting instead (still working on that one though) with the pixels embroided on them! And this works great!

You can find the carts here!

But now with the Civil War in the cinema my son also wanted some characters from that movie but I could not find any charts online so I made some up for myself.

Falcon

Scarlet Witch

I think they have worked out great!
So today I am going to share these charts with you! Nice huh?

Ant man

Winter Soldier

War Machine

Scarlet Witch

Vision

Falcon

And since I was working on those charts I also created some bad guys!

Dr Doom

Red Skull

Have fun you all!

Wonder Woman

Yes, I am a bit of a nerd. I love super hero strips and also the films. One of my favorites are Thor and Captain America, and thanks to Tom Hiddleston I have a tiny crush on Loki, but don't tell!

So a month ago I started my Wonder Woman amigarumi en today (after a few projects a side, like two challenges a babyshower present and a design from a drawing I made two years ago, still working on that one though) she is finally done! I am so proud! And this one is for me and no one else!

I absolutely adore this pattern and planning to make the other super hero's aswell!

She even got ears and earrings!

Look at her, standing tall looking like a super hero! I love her!

All year round challenge: F from Flamingo

I have seen so much crocheted purses that I actually got sick of it, but when I saw this purse brace for 1 euro I had to try it at least one time.
In my challenge I am a bit behind so I went for a simple pattern.

Materials

  • Catania cotton in any color you like
  • Hook size (3mm)
  • Embroidery thread
  • Embroidery needle
  • Purse brace

Questions & Answers

Q: How to make a magic ring?
A: Click here for the video.

Q: How to decrease invicible?
A: Put the hook through the front loop of the first 2 stitches and work your stitch like normal.

Stitches

Sc = single crochet
Slst = slipstitch
Sc2tog = 2 single crochet together

Pattern

Round 1: 8 sc in magic ring
Round 2: 2 sc in each st (16 st)
Round 3: 2 in 1th st, 1 in the next (24 st)
Round 4: 2 sc, * 2 in the next st, 3 in the next 3 st * repeat 7 times, 2 in next st, 1 sc (32 st)
Round 5: 2 in 1th st, 4 in the next (40 st)
Round 6:  2 sc, * 2 in the next st, 5 in the next 5 st * repeat 7 times, 2 in next st, 3 sc 48 st)
Round 7: 2 in 1th st, 6 in the next (56 st)
Round 8: 3 sc, * 2 in the next st, 7 in the next 7 st * repeat 7 times, 2 in next st, 3 sc (64 st)
Round 9: 2 in 1th st, 8 in the next (72 st)
Now it fits my brace, if yours is smaller or bigger increase or decrease a round or 2.

Round 10 - 28: 1 sc around (72 st)
Optional: join new color
Round 29: * 5 sc, sc2tog * repeat 10 times sc to end
Round 30: 1 sc around (62 st), stst, bind of, leave long tail.
Now sew one side on the brace and make sure you have equal amouth of stitches on both sizes of the brace (I had 7 on both sizes) and skip these and sew the other size on the brace

Now the magic comes in! We are going tot embroider in cross stitch a flamingo I have designed. Click here for an tutorial.
Always go from left to right.

I weaved a thread in so I had an idea on where to start.

All year round challenge: The D from Dog

For the letter D in my challenge I knew right away what I wanted to design.

My baby girl (she turns 6 next week, but you know she is the youngest so she is my baby) wanted slippers after the amazing Ninja Turtle slippers I made for my boy. This girl is a real girly girl so pink must do. And I don't know about you guys but I really like a poodle, the pink ones in particular. So the slippers needed to be poodles.

Source: poodleforum.com

In the past I had found a crocheted poodle hat, so with that image in mind I started to crochet.

My baby girl is in LOVE and mommy as well! These ones turn out real adorable!! And I almost think it's a waiste to wear them. But hey, if they are dirty I crochet a pair of new ones, in purple maybe or blue with bows around the ears! Come to think about it, I think I will do that last option very soon ;)

So now you are waiting for the moment when I say, here is the FREE pattern?

Okay, so here is the FREE pattern!!!

Will you let me enjoy your version of the slipper? Please send me a mail or massage at my Facebook page and I will share your version with all of my fans on Facebook!

I made these slippers for a girl with shoe size 30 (European size), 11 (UK), 12 (US). The size is adjustable by adding or leaving a round.
I am going to try to make the slipper for a bigger size also, so keep checking the pattern if you also like them in adult size.

For a half double crochet loop stitch you need to yarn over first and then make the loopstitch.

Slipper

Make two
With pink
Round 1: 8 dc in magic ring
Round 2: ch 2, 1 dc in same st, *1 dc in first st, 2 dc in the next*, repeat to end, 1 dc in same st as ch 2, join.
Round 3: ch 2, 1 dc in same st, *2 dc in first 2 st, 2 dc in the next*, repeat to end, 1 dc in same st as ch 2, join.
Round 4: ch 2, 1 dc in same st, *3 dc in first 2 st, 2 dc in the next*, repeat to end, 1 dc in same st as ch 2, join.
Round 5: ch 2, 1 dc in same st, *4 dc in first 2 st, 2 dc in the next*, repeat to end, 1 dc in same st as ch 2, join.
Round 6 - 11: ch 2, 1 dc in same st, 1 dc around, join.
Round 12: ch 2, 1 dc in same st, 1 dc around, 1 dc in same st as ch 2. Bind off.

Hold the slipper with the toe towards you and count 10 st to the right from the seam. Join yarn and follow the next steps.

Row 1: ch 3, dc 21 across, leave 4 st unworked.
Row 2 - 6: ch 3, turn dc 21 across.
Row 7: ch 3, dc 8, 2dgtog, 2dctog, dc 9.
Turn the slipper inside out and close the back with slipstitches.

Boot

Join yarn in the middle of the back of the slipper.

Round 1: ch 2, dc across the opening of the slipper, make sure you increase 4 times equally.
Round 2: ch 2, dc across, make sure to increase 2 times.
Round 3 - 5: ch 2, dc across.
Round 6: ch 1, turn, sc loopstitch across.
Round 7 - 8: ch 1, sc loopstitch across. In the last round bind off and weave in ends. In the last round bind off and weave in ends.

Eyes

Make four
With black
Round 1: sc 6 in magic ring.
Round 2: 2 sc in each st (12 st), bind off.
With white
Embroider a white spot in the eyes.

Sew the eyes with 7 st in the middle on the first 2 rows where the boot begins.

Embroider eye brows above the eyes.

Nose

Make two
With black
Ch 7
Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across (6 st), ch 1, turn.
Row 2: sc across (6 st), ch 1, turn.
Row 3: 2sctog, 2 sc, 2sctog (4 st), ch 1, turn.
Row 4: 2sctog, 2sctog (2 st), ch 1, turn.
Row 5: 2sctog, ch 1 and sc across the none, bind off leaving a long tail.

Ears

Make four
With pink
Ch 10
Round 1: 1 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 7 hdc, do not turn but go further on the other side of the chain and make 8 hdc (16 st), join in first hdc.

Now go further on the other side of the chain.

Round 2 - 6: ch 2, hdc with a loopstitch around (16 st), join in first hdc.

Yarn over

Stick through stitch

 Yarn under hook

Grab both threads with hook and pull through stitch

Now you have 4 loops on hook

Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook

Now you have a loop with a half double crochet

Round 7: do not chain (!) sc with a loopstitch around (17 st), bind off.

Place the ears directly under the loopstitch of the slipper.

Okay, now you have made the cutest thing I have ever seen!
